Journey of Blog writing..

Hello to Everyone...

You all reading my blogs from last two or two and a half months. Thanks for that. This blog is about What I feel during blog writing.

I am in NCST from 6th Aug 2007. Our TCOM sessions was started on 16th Aug and we got an assignment that we have to write two blogs in a week during our first module. Before this class I have very little knowledge about blogs. I read only two or three blogs before I started blog writing.
I am saying very truly that I haven't any interest in blog writing. I started blog writing because it's like an assignment for us. There is also an evaluation for blogs. Every week we have to write two blogs.

This was like a burden for me. There was also a boundary that we have to write a blog of at least seventy lines but later Sawani Mam(TCOM faculty) reduced number of lines to thirty five on our request. Thank you Mam, for that.

I choose heading for my blogs is 'Days in NCST'. This heading I choose because I want that my friend who are in patna(My native city) know about NCST. I want to share my new experiences
what I am getting in NCST. I gave my blog id to each of friends who are not near to me. They read my blogs regularly and praise me. First I thought they praised me because they are my friends.

Later I realize that my blogs are liked by many people. Because Mam gave me 'grade-A' for my blog writing. Only eight students got A grade for blog writing in our class and as I am out of those eight this really build up my confidence. Our first blog result came when I wrote ten blogs.
When I got 'A' grade , from that day I am enjoying my blog writing. Now it's no more burden for me. It's like a routine for me that I have to submit two blogs every week.

When I got 'A' grade, some of my batch mates also start to read my blogs. They also like my blogs. My friend Anjali always give her comments on my blogs. Her comments always build up my confidence. Thank you Anjali for your comments. poonam also commented two or three times. Prashant, chandra shekhar, Nikhil saraswat they all like my blogs. This is my last blog for TCOM evaluations.

But now blog writing is like a habit for me so I think I will continue it. Not compulsorly two blogs in a week but I will definitely continue my blog writing.

Lab facility in NCST..

Hiiiiiii...

This blog is about lab facility we get in our NCST.

We have 24hrs lab facility in our institute. If any one wants to enter in our lab then he or she has to swap his/her access-cum-identity card then student allow to enter in our lab. We have two labs.
One having Linux based fedora and other having windows 2000. There are 30-35 computers having windows 2000 and 12-15 computers having fedora.

Almost all the computers in our lab are in good condition, working fine. Lab runs 24 x 7 what I am trying to say is lab is hardly empty. If you come to our lab in any time whether it is midnight or 5:00 clock in morning definitely you find one or more students. This type of healthy environment really make comfortable everyone. Everyone always busy in doing their work. Three things are most important for us when we are in lab. First is code second is code and third one again is code. Means our life is based on code , code and code. You can't escape from code when you are in NCST.

We get Internet from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in weekdays and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm in weekends.
Very few people code this time. This is a time when almost every student is busy in net surfing, blog writing or chatting. Famous sites which are generally on every monitor are orkut.com, blog spot.com, 160 by 2.com, meebo.com and Google.com. Some students also exploring new things from Internet. We call Internet timing 'cyber cafe timing'. when computer shows that it's 10:00 pm then we say that "chalo-chalo lab khali karo cyber cafe band ho gaya hain." And believe me at 10:00 pm strength of lab is just one-fourth after 10:00 pm. You can say 6:00 to 10:00 is peek hour in our lab.

In one sentence I can say only one thing that Lab is everything for us.

Champions of our batch in NCST..

Hello to all of you....

This blog is all about who have performed very well in first module of NCST. By this blog you will know about the students who have cleared 9 MGPAs out of 10. By my previous blogs you all know very well about MGPA. There are six people who have cleared 9 MGPAs out of 10.

First is Amritanshu whom you all know very well by my previous blogs. All student of our batch know him very well. All students call him if they find any difficulty in their programming. Best part in his programming he know how to debug programs? When he appeared for anyMGPA first he concentrate on question deeply and then he made logic which are mostly enough for satisfying the parikshak. That's why he is able clearing 9 MGPAs.

Now Aditya, who is also my very good friend. He also know very well how to debug programs. What I like about him he never show of his intelligence. He believes in speak less and do more. He satisfied parikshak 9 times which is really a achievement.

Next is G.S. Bajaj. who is also very confident person. He has something inside which always made him think that his logic never goes wrong. He submitted his programs most of the times to parikshak in very few minutes and came form lab very early. He explained his logic after every MGPA.

Purushottam my roommate, according to him he is new to computer languages. No one know better than him how to satisfy the parikshak. By hook or by crook he know only one thing that he has to satisfy parikshak at any cost. His main competitors are all B.tech holders. He just want to dominate all engineers of NCST.

Chandra shekhar a experienced one. He knew java from last 5 or 6 years. He is helping by nature. He teaches us many of the data structures topics. I respect him.

Now Sushant, done 2 or 3 good projects during his MCA. His codes are totally different from others. He is the first one amongst us who submitted his program to parikshak and got all the Y's. By seeing those Y's we became more confident that we can also satisfy parikshak. From that day we all started programing in parikshak environment. He distribute his knowledge means helping guy.

These are 6 people who are champions of NCST but I would like to add one more name who is none other than subhash. He is not able to clear 9 MGPAs that doesn't mean he didn't deserve all the 10 MGPAs. In our batch no one has doubt on his programming skills. He is always ready to help others. He is one of the best candidates in our batch.

I feel really proud on them, that's why I say them Champions of NCST...

Olive for NCSTians

Hello to all of you.....

This blog is about a shop which is near by NCST. Every NCSTian know this place very well.

When you will enter in Electronic city phase-1 and you take a left turn which is near by State Bank of India, just 100 meters away from that turning there is a shop named 'OLIVE'. Name of shopkeeper of that shop is Kaadir. We call him Kaadir bhai.

Olive is a shop where you can find tea, coffee, col drinks, mixtures, sweets, cakes , pastries , pa ties any many other eatable things. This shop is like a landmark in Electronic city. Now I going to tell you importance of this shop for NCSTians.

We have very busy schedule in NCST. We often have tests in NCST. At least five tests in two weeks. we get two time coffee or tea in our mess. When we want some more coffee or tea then I think most of the NCSTians definitely go to OLIVE. Because we haven't any other option for getting refresh. When we want to eat something light like noodles or any thing for getting our mood fresh then we go to OLIVE. Olive is a kind of place where I think more than 50% of NCSTians definitely like. If someone is going to outside and anyone ask him "where are you going" chance become 80% that he would say "OLIVE." Anyone want tea or coffee he will go to OLIVE , anyone want to smoke , again OLIVE. I think it's a very important landmark for us.
It's very common dialogue between us "OLIVE chalna hain kya?" I think people who are habituated for OLIVE definately go 2 or 3 times in whole day and find their peace of mid by different activities.

Our previous batch also know about olive very well. Olive is still in their mind even they are not in NCST. Similarly OLIVE will be long time in our memories of our batch also.

Mess facility in NCST

Hi to all of you.....

This blog is about our mess what we get by NCST. I knew I would get Mess facility before I came here in NCST. Every student get this facility who lives in Hostel.

Our mess is underground. It's under ground floor of our Hostel. It consist of 15-20 tables and almost 60 chairs. It's like mess of military. Time is fixed for everything. There is also AC in our mess which is hardly on. In last two months I feel AC only two or three times.

Timing for first morning tea is 8:30 to 9:00 am. This time you will get only tea. Next we get breakfast. It's timing is 9:30am to 10:00 am. After that we get tea or coffee at 11:00 am. We take our lunch between 1:15 pm to 2:o0 pm. Next we get again tea and coffee at 4:00 pm. This time also we get some kind of snacks. And finally we take our dinner at 7:30 pm. When you are in not present in mess in these given time then you will stay hungry or you have to go outside for peace of stomach. What I am trying to say there shouldn't any margin of 2 mins.

First thing first. At morning you get tea at 8:30 am. This time is only for getting refresh in morning.

Then we have our breakfast at 9:30. We get different breakfast in a week. Monday we get 'Idlee sambhar' which is a traditional breakfast in south India. Tuesday we get very thick, you can say kind of dosa inside which haven't potato. In other days we get, consisting of less potato 'Aaloo kaparatha',' Uthpam', 'salty vermicelli', puri-sabji'. In beginning of our course on alternate Sundays we get bread-butter , jam and egg. It's happen two or three alternate Sundays but these Sundays we don't get egg. I don't know reason of this change.

At 10:00 we have to go for attending lecture. Then we get break for 15 mins. There is coffee and tea for us in this small break.

Now most important lunch. We get almost same lunch everyday. We get rice , three chapati sometimes puri in place of chapati, papad, curd, two kinds of vegetables. On wednesday and friday there is chicken for us but we have to pay 15rs for that. And quantity is not same all wed and fri. Sometimes chicken is over within 5 mins and sometimes it is also till dinner. We also get somekind of sweet. It could be anything. Vermicelli, Bundiiyaa , Rasna or could be any fruit.
In beginning of the course at least food of our mess was eatable, now a days sometimes food was not eatable at all. We eat only for the sake of eating , sometimes food is also tasty but it happens very less. I am saying this because I have to eat daily new type of dish which I don't like.

Now time for coffee. This time we get also some snacks, Sometimes biscuits means light snacks.

We take our dinner at 7:30pm. All student think that this time is too early but we haven't any option. And now we are habituated. No we feel hungry at exact 7:30 pm. God knows what will happen to me when I go to my home? Dinner is same as lunch. Difference is that this time there isn't any sweet for us. But yes sunday dinner is special for us. That I like very much. Usually on sundays fried rice and manchurian with gravy. One sunday we got chicken biryaani but that was very salty that's why all students called that namak biryani. But mostly sundays we get good dinner. That's why all students wait for sunday.

Students who have already experienced for hostel's mess they said this food of NCST is much better than other messes that's why I always thank to God...

Patent Dialouge of Some NCSTians......

Welcome all of you....

"My voice is my recognition". This proverb is very true. We all very well accept this fact. Likewise also in our batch there are some students whose dialogues are famous. If you will hear those dialogues you can easily recognize that person without seeing him/her.

First Person whose dialogues are very popular, whom I like to introduce is Gouri Shanker Bajaj.
His first dialogue is " Means ye to obvious hain." And he has also very big explanation for every question. whenever you ask any question to him, then God helps you. He explain that question in very big manner and you don't dare to ask question to him again . When ever he explain any question and you would near by him then in next minute you will at least 100m away from him. I am saying this because I always do that.

Next person is Aditya. Whenever you will say something to him and if he agree on your point then he would definitely say "arree yaar sachii". And when ever he see anything and if it is new for him then he will say "abe teri."

Now monika, when she is doing anything and you are going to disturb her then she will say "Kya hain?" And she always say to her friends "Apne kaan idhar laao samosa bana dungi." Actually she is going to pull your ears then she fold ears like samosa.

Next prashant. When you are in croudy place and someone say "Haan saale" in very loud voice then that person is none other than prashant.

Hmm Poonam, she always say in her low pitch voice "Oh my God!".

Now Nikhil saraswat, His dialogue is "Kyoun yaar?" Actually I can't write as he speaks his dialogue. He speaks his dialogue very sweetly. And one more thing all girls of NCST agree that he is handsome. That's why I little bit jealous of him. I always tont him that all girls like him and he says "kyoun yaar?"

Arun's dialogue "sharam aa rahi hain?"

Amritanshu says "koi kaam dhaam nahin, chale aaye?, chalo jaao padahi likhai karo." And most interesting thing is he never studies.

When ravi have to go for breakfast and you are also going for same then he says in his Andhra style "chaalle?"

These are some NCSTians whose these dialogues are most of the time when they speak anything. Actually these dialogues are their recognition. You are not going to enjoy until you will hear these dialogues by themselves.
